Can we come back and get married again next year please?!
We had the absolute best, best time - stupid smiles and fun and laughter all day! Dee surprised us with some amazing vows, and made the whole thing super easy from planning, to getting to know us, down to the day itself. We could not recommend a cheeky little secret elopement here enough!
Special mention to Miranda Stokkel who worked some magic to make these two plonkers look good.

Our custom chapel is designed to transport you into another world - one where neons mix with glitter walls and velvet collides with retro hearts and animal print, in a beautiful, warm, peachy embrace. It’s a place that channels the hedonism and nostalgia of Vegas but with a very Melbourne sensibility (i.e - it’s not tacky)

Who are we?
This is Dee, Anthony and Sarah.
And they are on a mission to change how you think about weddings - they don’t need to be big, they don’t need to be white, they don’t need to cost a fortune and they certainly don’t need to be a pain in the a#$e to organise.
These friendly faces are also celebrants, party starters, occasional wearers of velvet and your biggest cheerleaders. As wedding professionals with 25+ years of combined industry experience, they know what makes a great wedding. But they also know that planning a wedding can be stressful for couples. And time consuming. And anxiety inducing. And truly, ain’t no one got time for that.
That’s why, back in 2017, they founded The Altar Electric as a genuine alternative to the tradish big white wedding: a magical place where every type of love was celebrated, a place where couples had the freedom to be their authentic selves and most importantly, an incredible all inclusive wedding experience that would solve the many headaches couples face when tackling the wedding planning gauntlet.
